DUE TO THE NATURE OF OUR 2021 SEASON, THE GOLDEN MARMOT AWARDS WILL BE AN ADULT ONLY EVENT. KIDS/TEENS CATEGORIES TO RETURN NEXT SEASON.

While we announce the category winners, we will also be taking a "look back" at the 70's, or the decade that CBMT was born. In recognizing this iconic era, CBMT will recreate the magic that defined the Crested Butte in the 70's
In addition to announcing the winners of the Golden Marmots, we will also be taking a look back at the first decade of the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre's existence. The 70's brought our initial production of 'Dark of the Moon", The Crested Butte Arts Festival, and the adoption of the Old Town Hall into a theatre.
We encourage our Golden Marmot patrons to dress in appropriate attire for the 1970's era during the event; disco or hippie attire, groovy colors, or anything else fashionable during this iconic decade.
