Looking for some off-season
entertainment? CBMT is presenting our locally written,
locally directed and locally infused production
of our 10-Minute Plays. This year's theme is "in
the kitchen". The main requirement is that the
play is set in a kitchen. The other challenges
each writer faced included a max time of 10 minutes
and a small cast. The plays we have provide a variety
of views about life, whether it's a story inspired
by the kitchen setting or a peek into life that
happens to take place in the kitchen. We had so
many entries, we're able to present this as a 2-act
show.
10-Minute Plays: In the Kitchen will show
at the Mallardi Cabaret from May 21 through 24 at
7:30 p.m. each evening. Tickets are $10 for adults
and $8 for students and can be reserved by calling
the Mountain Theatre at 349-0366. Or you can purchase
tickets online.
If you're planning on seeing Brent Laney's original
play In the Kitchen next weekend, you can
get 5% off your total ticket price if you buy tickets
for the two show at the same time. You can only get
the discount by calling the theatre and purchasing
them on the phone, or by stopping by and purchasing
them in person.
