| Deborah Gillman
has been on and off stage with the Crested Butte
Mountain Theatre since 2001 when her then-5-year-old
daughter performed in Winnie the Pooh's Christmas
Tail. She joined the board in 2006. Her
experience with CBMT includes working as a stage
manager, writing a 10-minute play and acting
in minor rolls. She has a Bachelor's Degree in
Biology from Western State College and is employed
by both the Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce
and Cement Creek Welding, Inc. Debbie won the
coveted crystal Marmot, CBMT's President's Award
at the 2007 Golden Marmots. |
| |
| Scott Desmarais |
| Scott joined the board in
April 2007 after a brief hiatus as a board member
from 2002 to 2004. Given his experience as a partner with The Boston Consulting Group, Scott brings an impressive international business strategy and financial perspective to the Board. Scott's Mountain Theatre roles include Ralph in summer 2007's wildly successful Reefer Madness the Musical, Vince Fontaine in Grease and a leading role in May 2007's 10-Minute original play, Give Me My Sin Again, written by local writer David Rothman. |

| Kelly Jensen |
| "My name is Kelly
Jensen. I am originally from Wimberly, Texas.
I am 23 years old and have been an active member
of Crested Butte Mountain Theatre since 2003.
I have been a member of the Board of Directors
for a little over a year [since 2006].
My role in the theatre continues to be on the
technical side of things. I design lights and
sound for a lot of productions throughout the
year. I also recently started coordinating Crested
Butte's yearly Mardi Gras celebration. Aside
from the theatre, I am also a volunteer DJ at
our local radio station KBUT. There, I host a
show every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
as well as give my time in other volunteer capacities.
My occupation is very seasonal. Mostly I do custom
boot-fitting at a local ski shop here in town.
In the summertime it varies. I am involved in
CBMT because I want to promote arts in this valley
and will continue to do so while I am a resident
of this community. I view the arts as a necessity
for a healthy community." Kelly Jensen is a recent
addition to the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre
Board (2006) and has been heavily involved with
CBMT productions since 2003. |

| Perry Lewis - Vice President |
| Perry Lewis has been on the
board since 2004, maybe longer. He's lost track.
Perry's interest in theatre started in college,
where he figured out that acting like a fool
could get you a degree. He graduated from the
University of Colorado with a degree in Theatre.
It was after college, while pursuing an acting
career in New York City, that he realized his
lure of the mountains was greater than his lure
of the lights. He now pursues roles with the
Crested Butte Mountain Theatre, catches 20" Rainbows,
and skis on 20" of powder. Perry hopes to continue
to aid the Mountain Theatre in its pursuit of
excellence in a community setting that is unsurpassed.
He hopes you will join him in that effort. |

| Patricia
Seeberg - President |
| Patricia Seeberg
has been involved with CBMT since 1995 and has
been on stage or back stage in over 30 productions.
An avid CBMT enthusiast, she sat on the board
briefly in 1997 and rejoined the fold in November
2007. Having honed her acting abilities under
former CBMT artistic directors (and periodic
guest directors) Kathleen Mary and Shoshana Partos,
in 2005 Patricia attended the Stanislavsky Summer
School, a two-month training course in Cambridge,
MA for acting that studied the works of Chekhov
and Konstantin Stanislavsky. She has a passion
for Russian theatre that goes back to her days
in college when she connected to the particular
style of Russian writers. Arriving in Crested
Butte from Los Angeles, Patricia credits much
of her positive experiences and personal growth
with involvement in theatre and hopes to infect
other folks in the same manner. Her day job is
web master for The Alpineer, a local outdoor
adventure shop, and she is a fill-in driver for
Mountain Express. She is also volunteer webmistress
for CBMT. Patricia was
elected President in January 2008. |

| Jamie
Stambaugh |
| Jamie joined
the CBMT board in October 2006 and was elected
Secretary in November 2006. She is excited to
participate in an arena that always been a focal
point of her life. Jamie graduated from UNC with
a BA in Musical Theatre Performance, participated
in several summer stock shows for Little Theatre
of the Rockies and has been in or around theatre
for as long as she can remember. Jamie wrote
the drama curriculum for Hodgkins Middle School
in Denver. She taught the drama classes for ages
eleven through fifteen for two years. The mother
of two young sons, Jamie won a Golden Marmot
for her role as an interfering maid in the 2006
summer production of Don't Dress for Dinner. "I
am so impressed with Crested Butte Mountain Theatre
and am looking forward to helping in any way
I can to ensure that it is here to create, cajole
and captivate its audiences for years to come." |

| Larry
Tanning |
| Larry has just
rejoined the CBMT board in November 2007 after
a 21-year absence from 12 years of very active
hands-on participation with the CBMT from 1974
to 1986. He brings unmatched Crested Butte experience
and community theatre knowledge to our board.
Larry has participated in many of the CBMT’s
most memorable productions, from building sets,
to playing piano for Summer Shakespeare, to acting
and directing. He had lead role in the 1976 production
of Games/After
Liverpool, was the second son in the memorable
Lion in Winter, won a golden marmot
for best supporting actor in Equus,
and two best director marmots for A Thousand
Clowns in 1982 and What
the Butler Saw in 1986. He was the president
of our board in 1986 when the theatre was the
springboard for initiating the Center for the
Arts. Larry is back in a big way by heading our
first-ever capital fundraiser to upgrade the
technical lighting capabilities of the Mallardi
in January 2008, and will be directing the third
play in our 2008 summer season. It is the smash-hit
bedroom farce Run For Your Wife opening
August 20, 2008. |

| Shelley Thomas |
| Shelley joined
the board in summer 2007. She is a physical therapist
but frequently makes time to perform with CBMT.
Frequently cast in singing roles, Shelley's most
recent part was as Mae, a leading character in Reefer
Madness the Musical. |
| |
| Mary Tuck |
| Mary has been
involved with CBMT since 1997 and has
participated in nearly 50 productions as actress,
director, designer and more. She is a retired
Commercial Art Instructor and continues a career
in freelance painting and design. After taking
voice lessons from her mother, Mary began her
life in professional theatre at the age of 12
in Showboat at
the Long Beach Civic Light Opera. She was hooked.
More than 40 productions later, she was asked
to join the Board of Directors of the Long Beach
Community Playhouse where she remained for five
years. Upon moving to Crested Butte in 1997,
she joined the CBMT Board and has been on the
Board three times since 1997. Earlier in 2007,
Mary directed Jerry Finnegan's Sister and
performed in Reefer Madness the Musical.
In 2008, she will direct two productions for
CBMT - Dearly Beloved and Christmas
Belles. |

| Lucy Zavala |
| Lucy joined the
Board in summer 2007. She spent most of her early
years in the Los Angeles area. She moved to Crested
Butte in the spring of 1979 intending to stay
a couple of years and then return to California.
That did not happen. She has seen Crested Butte
go through many changes in her 28 years as a
resident, and she is pleased to say that most
of the change has been good. She is currently
the co-site coordinator for the Crested Butte
Health Fair held at this end of the valley every
year. Lucy is proud to say that this will be
the 9th year of the Health Fair. She is on the
board of a non-profit group known as Living Journeys,
a Board Member of the Crested Butte Music Festival
serving as Assistant Treasurer and is also on
the Board of the Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce.
She is a Crested Butte Rotary Club member representing
Bank of the West and a 2005 graduate of The Gunnison
Valley Leadership Program. |
