Class Action is
an evening of 25 short scenes and monologues.
Commissioned by the Tony Award winning American
Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) In San Francisco,
this play has won critical acclaim for its entertaining
yet relevant and realistic portrayal of life at
a High School. The many diverse scenes collectively
make up the play. Although each scene stands on
its own, there is a common thread - all of the
vignettes deal with situations that take place
outside the classroom, perhaps the most important
experiences that young people deal with while attending
High School
Class Action , a contemporary
piece by Brad Slaight will be this year's Teens
on Stage production. CBMT's
Teens on Stage program, now in its tenth year,
provides an opportunity for local teens to take
part in a full stage production. In addition to
acting, teens will assist in light design, sound
design, light and sound board operation, costumes,
and stage management.
Class Action will perform at the Mallardi
Cabaret from November 7 through
November 10 at 8 p.m. each evening. Tickets are
$10 for adults and $8 for students and can be reserved
by calling the Mountain Theatre at 349-0366. |
