Dear Theatre Enthusiasts,

We are in the middle of a very exciting time here at the Crested Butte Mountain Theatre. The Mallardi Cabaret is in the process of receiving a face lift. This past year saw a brand new modular stage as well as a new back wall and a new paint job. We are currently raising funds to put in a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. The goal is to turn our quirky little space into a flexible, black box theatre.

The current season offers many opportunities for actors, stage hands, and techies alike. You will want to be sure to check out the Pulitzer Prize winning drama, Doubt: A Parable, in March. May brings us our annual Ten Minute Play Festival. You won’t want to miss the summer musical, Into the Woods, at the end of June. The southern comedy, Dearly Beloved, follows that. Run For Your Wife is a fast-paced farce that is sure to make you laugh out loud. The Teens on Stage production in November will be Reviving Ophelia which will be followed by our big holiday production.
