Dear
Friends, Volunteers, and Theatregoers:
On
behalf of CBMT's hardworking Board of Directors,
I welcome you to the rest
of this season's excellent offerings. I am delighted
and excited to be the
newest "kid on the block", (well, actually a middle-aged
mezzo - but so glad
to be here!) with this stimulating theatre organization,
the longest continuously running theatre in Colorado.
For several years it has been
such a treat to be a part of the audience for many
of CBMT's productions
here in Crested Butte; times for laughter and tears,
joy and suspense, and
often serious contemplation. Now there are new opportunities
to help build
an even bigger and better success story with our community
theatre.
Our Board truly is "hardworking", but would
love to share the pleasureable
burdens with more of the talented people in our valley.
We hope more and
more of you will offer your considerable and varied
abilities to us here at
CBMT. There are so many ways to contribute to our
productions, and so often, once involved, you will
find depths of interests and possibilities
previously unimagined.
Please join us in whatever way
most inspires you to express your own theatricality!
Perhaps you are a closet Cruise, or a subtle Streep
- welcome to the auditions! And if you do prefer
to support CBMT as an enthusiatic audience member,
then please become a
member of The Crested Butte Mountain
Theatre. Our success, even survival depends on you.
With
thanks and sincere best wishes for great times with
CBMT,
Elizabeth Bond |
